The Role

  • We are seeking an experienced National Key Account Manager to join our team, responsible for driving sales and margin growth through strategic partnerships with key accounts and their distributors.
  • The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the National healthcare system and Community landscape, as well as market trends.
  • They will be responsible for developing strategic plans to achieve coverage, frequency, and call rate objectives, and for building strong relationships with HCPs throughout the key accounts.
  • The role requires a strong commercial understanding to identify opportunities and areas of focus for account development, while optimising margins for Abbott.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute business strategies to drive sales and margin growth in targeted National Key Accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the executive level, including HCPs, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Provide guidance and insight into National accounts and the Homecare channel, identifying opportunities and obligations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute brand strategy, including marketing, analytics, and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, or a relevant field.
  • At least 3 years' experience in sales role with a strong understanding of the National healthcare system and Community landscape as well as market trends.
  • Sales experience within a nutrition, health, or science-based industry is highly desirable.

Additional Requirements

  • Must hold an active Australian Driver's License and have the ability to regularly travel interstate as required.
  • Clear Police and Working with Children Checks.

  • A competitive salary of AU$90,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
