Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Traffic and Transport Planning Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing road safety and traffic impacts from developments and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide innovative solutions.

This role requires a thorough understanding of development assessment, civil or environmental engineering principles, planning legislation, and consultation skills. The position involves analyzing, modeling, and providing technical advice on traffic engineering principles for developments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  • Current Class C Driver's Licence
  • Construction General Induction Card
  • Experience in assessing and reporting on traffic and parking matters
  • Experience in road traffic and intersection design, and assessment
  • Demonstrated experience in preparing complex traffic studies, traffic modeling, and cost estimating for civil engineering works
Salary

The salary range for this position is between $99,000 - $119,000 plus up to $12,000 market loading depending on skills and experience, 3.5% civil liability, and 11.5% super.
