Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst to support our sales and marketing function. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing market data, sales force activity data, and customized reports to ensure consistency of information and one set of numbers throughout the organization.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Market Analysis
  • Prepare comprehensive market analysis reports to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze and review monthly accounts and develop commentary versus benchmarks.
Business Development
  • Work closely with Sales and Marketing to evaluate promotional success of key strategic factors.
  • Assist with budget and forecast planning process and ensure alignment across Sales, Marketing, Demand & Finance.
Process Improvement
  • Contribute towards improving processes within sales force effectiveness, increase awareness of SFE measures and provide regular reports to all managers.
  • Provide training to Sales and Marketing on key systems to ensure current use and understanding of territory management systems and market data.
Special Projects
  • Support Finance and Logistics Manager in preparation of Demand statement and deck for S&OP and other tasks as needed.
  • Special projects as directed by the Financial Controller or the General Manager.

Requirements

  1. 2-3 years experience in a financial/planning role.
  2. Sales and marketing experience and a demonstrable understanding of Market Audit data and proprietary territory management systems.
  3. Strong analytical, statistical and mathematical skills.
  4. Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel.
  5. Experience in using SAP and strong BPCS skills.
  6. Good commercial and industry awareness.
  7. Strong time management, teamwork and execution skills.
