Quality Improvement Specialist

This is a temporary full-time opportunity to lead quality and process improvement projects across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will have tertiary qualifications in a healthcare discipline and/or equivalent experience within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead multidisciplinary project teams to drive continuous improvement and ensure high-quality care and service.
  • Provide education, training, and mentorship to build capacity and capability for staff in quality & safety and continuous improvement methodology.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology and the ability to interpret, document, and demonstrate compliance to external standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff to embed sustained practices and meet accreditation and NSW Health quality and safety service level agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to audit, report writing, and take action to improve results while assisting staff to interpret results and prioritise improvements.
