Safety and Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Wellbeing professional to join our team at Woolworths Group. As a key member of our Safety, Health and Wellbeing team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our team members, customers, and visitors across our retail ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with operational teams to drive great leadership, care, and processes to deliver great safety, health, and wellbeing outcomes.
- Conduct store visits and coaching teams to deliver great outcomes.
- Support new store launch programs and projects.
- Investigate people incidents in line with the National Framework.
- Complete risk assessments and root cause analysis.
- Participate in National Safety Programs.
- Regular travel to stores in your region.
- Minimum 5 years safety, health, and wellbeing experience/WHS Diploma level or relevant qualifications.
- Experience in finding and fixing hazards, incident investigation, wellbeing programs, and root cause analysis.
- Care deeply, maintain confidentiality, and have high energy and enthusiasm for everything you do.
- Experience monitoring and embedding safety processes and systems that drive performance improvement.
- Experience working in a high-paced, multi-site environment.
- Detailed knowledge and application of all relevant legislation, reporting, and understanding of the regulatory environment.
