Health and Safety Business Partner

We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Business Partner to join our team at Cleanaway. As a key member of our HSE team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and process safety practices of our Eastern Creek site are of the highest standard.
As a proactive and influential individual, you will engage and manage stakeholders effectively, foster a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices, and contribute to the development and review of our HSE Management Standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assist sites in applying knowledge to reduce H&S risk and prevent injury and illness.
- Assist sites with hazard identification and risk assessment activities.
- Maintenance of current risk registers and development and assessment of effective risk controls.
- Contribute to the development and review of the HSE Management Standards.
- Support sites to conduct HSE incident investigations.
- Collaborate with key HSE team members and stakeholders to effectively partner to deliver key changes or requirements.
- Embed a strong safety culture across site operations through the application of HSE Behaviours and the establishment of a learning culture.
- Tertiary qualified in occupational health and safety, or other relevant disciplines.
- Certification IV in Training and Assessment is preferred.
- Ability to influence and drive change through H&S initiatives and programs.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build meaningful relationships with all stakeholders.
- Previous experience in blue-collar, high-risk industrial environments desirable.
