Retail Operations Manager

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Retail Operations Manager to join our team in Sydney, Australia.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple op shops across the city, supporting our volunteers, and driving sales growth. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and leading a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage profit and loss performance for all stores in your area
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and improve profitability
  • Train, manage, and mentor your team of volunteers to success
  • Manage merchandise and stock to maximise sales
  • Ensure all operational and safety compliance
  • Support the team to achieve goals and deliver maximised profits

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong retail management skills across all aspects of retail operations
  • Multi-site or big-box retail management experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a successful track record in managing, engaging and developing staff
  • Strong written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to adapt quickly
  • A customer service focus with motivation to improve customer experience
