Job Summary

Our team is seeking a skilled and dedicated cardiologist to deliver high-quality clinical services in our dynamic Department of Medicine. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing education and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Providing expert inpatient and outpatient cardiology care, including advanced cardiac imaging and training in CT coronary angiogram reporting.
  • Leading governance and quality assurance initiatives in alignment with national standards.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team care, mentoring junior medical staff, and supporting professional development.
About the Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a compassionate and skilled cardiologist committed to clinical excellence, education, and patient safety. They will demonstrate:

  • Registration and qualifications consistent with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and eligibility to practice in Queensland.
  • Experience in general cardiology with advanced skills in cardiac imaging (e.g., TOE, TTE, stress echo) and willingness to participate in on-call and weekend rosters.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a passion for mentoring medical staff and fostering multidisciplinary collaboration.
