About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Culinary Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure each meal is visually appealing and full of flavor, adhering to presentation standards while adding personal flair to every dish.
  • Monitor kitchen supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is in order and minimizing waste.
  • Notify supervisors or duty managers immediately about any safety incidents, equipment malfunctions, or low supplies.
  • Keep the kitchen exceptionally clean, complying with or exceeding cleanliness and hygiene regulations.
  • Assist with dishwashing and other kitchen tasks when needed.
  • Respond to guest inquiries or offer advice when necessary.
  • Maintain a polished appearance to represent the kitchen professionally.
Requirements:
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
  • Prior experience as a Commis Chef at a luxury hotel is preferred.
  • Mandatory certifications include Food Safety Certificate.
  • Passion for providing luxury experiences and willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Ongoing availability to work flexibly, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene.
  • An organized approach, ability to handle large amounts of information, and deal with various requests simultaneously.
  • Good communication and writing skills.
  • Physical fitness, as you'll be on your feet most of the day, sometimes lifting, pushing, and pulling objects up to 23 kg.
