Culinary Associate Role

We are seeking an exceptional Culinary Associate to join our team at Holy Spirit Casula. As a key member of the Catering team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and excellent dining services to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing resident meal service including assisting with meal preparation, providing a quality dining experience and supporting residents as required.
  • Maintaining a cooperative team spirit by working collaboratively with peers.
  • Working in a safe manner to protect yourself, colleagues and residents, adhering to all policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • A heart and passion for providing exceptional care to the elderly.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) - desirable but not essential.
  • A good understanding of food safety practices, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Warm and empathetic interpersonal skills with experience interacting with a wide range of people.
  • Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
