Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines.

You will work on-site at various locations across regional Australia, performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, and replacing components as needed.

This is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance while being part of a global leader in sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on wind turbines, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, identifying and resolving problems efficiently
  • Replace components, such as gears, bearings, and electrical components, as needed
  • Work closely with our technical team to resolve complex issues and implement new technologies
  • Ensure all work is conducted safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Electrical or mechanical trade qualification (e.g., electrician, mechanic, hydraulics technician)
  • Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in the renewable energy sector
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
