Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Administrator to join our team at Diona Pty. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Commercial Risk Management
    • Support the project delivery team in identifying and addressing commercial risks in a timely manner.
  • Contract Management
    • Ensure that all subcontracts, supply and services contracts are procured, executed, delivered, and closed out in accordance with company commercial policies and guidelines.
  • Progress Claims
    • Prepare and submit progress claims to clients for work completed each month in line with commercial and contractual arrangements.
  • Subcontractor Management
    • Prepare and organize the approval of subcontractor progress claims each month in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures.
  • Variation Pricing
    • Support the project delivery team with the pricing of variations to the contract – both to the client and to suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Financial Reporting
    • Assist in the preparation of monthly project financial reports.

Requirements

  • Experience
    • Relevant experience in a contracts administrator role in the civil construction sector, preferably within utilities and infrastructure.
  • Skills
    • Demonstrated ability to assess claims or variations by subcontractors against the quantity claimed, as well as against their contractual requirements.
    • Demonstrated ability to prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients.
    • Demonstrated ability to analyze contractual issues and provide and/or recommend solutions through appropriate problem-solving techniques.
    • Highly developed communication skills to engage with key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Excellent Excel skills and experience using Workbench software an advantage.
