Cafe Kitchen Operations Manager

About the Role
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Cafe BOH Manager to join our close-knit team at Bed Bath N' Table. As a Cafe Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for managing back of house for breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea. Your duties will include food preparation, cooking, cleanliness, hygiene, day-to-day kitchen operations, and opens/closes.
This is a fast-paced leadership role, where you will be expected to run the kitchen using best food handling practices. You will be working in our flagship store, The Works Hawthorn, which showcases the widest range of our homewares products and includes a newly renovated, 125-seat Mezzanine Café.
The Perfect Profile
- Previous hospitality, kitchen management, and chef experience
- Menu creation and execution
- Confidence to prepare a range of foods that people will talk about
- Ability to work independently, proven food preparation experience following food handling guidelines
