Design Lead

Our company is seeking an experienced Textile Designer to join our team in a key role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing original artwork that brings our design direction to life.

  • Create and develop artwork in line with design direction, briefs, and technical specifications
  • Prepare technical spec packets for production and review supplier samples, including repeats and colour separations
  • Maintain accurate and accessible artwork files and archives
  • Research trends and interpret market knowledge with a commercial lens
  • Collaborate with design, product development, and graphic teams

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • A tertiary qualification in Textile Design or similar field of study
  • 2-3 years' experience in a similar textile design role
  • Strong drawing, painting, and rendering skills along with commercial creativity
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
