About the role

We are seeking an exceptional textile designer to play a key role in shaping our seasonal collections.

  • Create original textile prints and surface patterns for bedding, cushions, throws, and home decor that inspire everyday living.
  • Collaborate closely with our Creative Director to develop cohesive, on-brand collections reflecting current trends and our aesthetic.
  • Translate mood boards and trend insights into commercially viable designs across multiple product categories.

This opportunity calls for a skilled designer who thrives on pattern creation, surface design, and trend forecasting, with a passion for transforming interiors through textiles.

Responsibilities
  • Develop repeat patterns, colour separations, and production-ready artwork files for digital and screen printing.
  • Work collaboratively with product development and sampling teams to ensure design intent is executed through to final production.
  • Liaise with suppliers and printers to manage sampling and strike-off approvals.
  • Sustainably source fabrics and trim while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain an organised digital design archive and product development tracker for ongoing collections.
  • Stay informed about interior and fashion trends, colour forecasting, and material innovations.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Textile Design, Surface Design, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in textile or surface design within homewares, fashion, or interiors.
  • Strong artistic expression and advanced Adobe Creative Suite skills, especially Illustrator, Photoshop & InDesign.
  • Excellent hand-drawing or painting skills, as well as proficiency in digital illustration.
  • Strong understanding of textile construction, print techniques, and colour matching.
