Factory Operations Manager

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations on the factory floor. As a Factory Operations Manager, you will be leading by example, supporting and guiding staff to ensure jobs are running smoothly, meeting deadlines, and maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example on the factory floor, supporting and guiding staff in achieving operational excellence
- Manage daily production schedules and workflow to meet customer needs
- Monitor quality and ensure work is completed to high standard
- Promote and enforce workplace health and safety practices
- Troubleshoot issues, minimize downtime, and maintain productivity
- Train and develop staff to build skills and efficiency
About You:
- Experience as a Factory Operations Manager or similar role
- Practical knowledge of manufacturing or trade environments - Previous experience in metal fabrication highly regarded
- Strong people skills – able to motivate and get the best out of a team
- Safety-first mindset with attention to detail
- Willingness to roll up sleeves and take ownership of tasks
- Reliable, organized, and committed to delivering results
