About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Standards Engineer to join our team at Energy Queensland. As a key member of our Telecommunications team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining telecommunications standards and policies that support the safe and efficient operation of our power network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain telecommunications standards and policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Design and implement telecommunications infrastructure to support the power network
  • Provide technical expertise to support the development of new technologies and solutions

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Telecommunications Standards Engineer who has a strong understanding of telecommunications technologies and systems. You will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical) and be eligible to be a member of the Institute of Engineers Australia.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications technologies and systems
  • Experience in developing and maintaining telecommunications standards and policies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
