**Coastal Engineer Position Overview**

Moffatt & Nichol specializes in large complex waterfront infrastructure projects. We are actively looking for a Coastal Engineer to join our team.

**Job Responsibilities:**
  • Assist with the planning and design for urban waterfront, coastal management and coastal structures projects.
  • Prepare or contribute to feasibility investigations, environmental impact studies, coastal hazard assessments, infrastructure condition assessments and engineering designs.
  • Collect and/or analyze coastal data, survey data, geotechnical investigations, engineering drawings, aerial photography and reviewing reports to support project work.
**Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in related engineering field.
  • 2+ years of experience as a coastal engineer.
  • AutoCAD, Civil3D and/or GIS (QGIS or ArcGIS) proficiency is desirable.
**Working Conditions:**

Sedentary for prolonged periods of time, with client interactions and occasional travel.
