Job Description:

We are seeking a Waterfront Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member, you will assist in the planning and design of urban waterfront, coastal management, and coastal structures projects. Your expertise will contribute to feasibility investigations, environmental impact studies, coastal hazard assessments, and engineering designs.

Responsibilities include supporting planning and design for maritime, waterfront, and coastal structures, including marinas, marine terminals, living shorelines, and coastal restoration projects. You will also analyse coastal data, survey data, geotechnical investigations, and engineering drawings to support project work.

Your role will involve undertaking calculations or modelling of coastal processes and sediment transport to support engineering or environmental assessments. Additionally, you will prepare application documentation for development and environmental permits.

You will collaborate with other team members on project-related tasks and assist senior engineers with site inspections and data collection.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
  • At least 2 years of experience as a waterfront infrastructure specialist.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and/or GIS (QGIS or ArcGIS) is desirable.
  • Experience with hydrodynamic and wave modelling is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.

Working Conditions:

This role involves sedentary work with client interactions and occasional travel.
