Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Child Health Nurse to be part of our Child Health & Engagement team. This section is focused on delivering integrated, holistic, and coordinated services for Aboriginal children aged 0-5 years and their families, ensuring they are healthy and well-prepared for school.
The Child Health Nurses collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of health professionals to provide evidence-based child health services, including health assessments, immunisations, and developmental screenings, to ensure our children receive the best start in life.
Candidate Requirements:
- Current AHPRA registration with a minimum of five years of clinical practice.
- Expert knowledge of the NT vaccination schedule regarding childhood immunisations, accredited to provide immunisation or willingness to undertake accreditation.
- Working knowledge of Child Health and an understanding of current practices, theories, and values.
- Knowledge of child development and its relevance to Aboriginal children in Central Australia.

*Total effective package includes: base salary, district allowance, superannuation, leave loading, and estimated tax savings from salary packaging options.
