About the Role

As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and developing strong relationships with our clients. This full-time permanent position requires you to be proactive and self-motivated, with a focus on building a portfolio of customers in the Kitchen Designer, Custom Joinery and A & D space.

Your primary objective will be to generate sales at a retail level by providing exceptional customer service, driving referrals into our store, and hunting for new business opportunities. You will need to have previous experience in Business Development Management, with a proven track record of success in this field.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Business Development: Identify and implement new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders in the Kitchen Designer, Custom Joinery & A & D space.
  • Sales Training: Collaborate with customers to meet their evolving needs, including stocktake management and ongoing sales training.
  • Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with market knowledge and partner with suppliers for training events.
Requirements:
  • A verifiable track record in a product-based B2B or B2C business development role involving developing new and existing customer relationships to achieve established revenue targets.
  • A focus on and interest in architecture and design.
  • Experience within Kitchen, Bathroom and Laundry appliances, or a design-led adjacent industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A customer-focussed mindset where the customer is at the heart of all decisions and actions.
