We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Design Engineer to join our team at Dalton Consulting Engineers. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for developing and producing functional detailed designs for various projects.

With a strong background in land development and a proven track record of delivering high-quality designs, you will be an asset to our team. Your expertise in AutoCAD, 12D, Hec RAS, and MS Office products will enable you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the growth and development of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce functional detailed designs for various projects
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure effective project delivery
  • Oversee and develop colleagues and junior staff
  • Participate in round table discussions to promote best practice and technical improvement
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years' experience in land development
  • Completion of Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, 12D, Hec RAS, and MS Office products
  • Demonstrated experience in design of roads, drains, sewer & water reticulation, retarding basins, and wetlands
  • Critical thinking and detail-oriented skills
  • Motivated and a team player
  • Professional Engineers Registration in Victoria (or immediate candidate for training)
