Talent Acquisition Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at MMG Australia. As a key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for blue and white-collar roles, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide expert recruitment support and Australian Labour Market advice to hiring managers and the site HR team, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement new recruitment initiatives to drive business growth and improve our employer brand.
- Provide training to hiring managers on MMG's recruitment processes, ensuring consistency and best practice across the organization.
- Support the HR team in succession planning, focusing on critical skills and hard-to-fill roles to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with managers to evaluate employee performance during the probationary period, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
- Oversee the probationary review process for new employees, ensuring a positive onboarding experience.
- Conduct exit interviews for departing employees, gathering valuable insights to inform future recruitment strategies.
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist who possesses a strong understanding of recruitment legislations and best practices. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
Key qualifications include:
- Experience in working in a recruitment environment, either in-house or within a recruitment agency.
- Good attention to detail and excellent administrative and time management skills.
- Strong computer skills across Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Sound understanding of recruitment legislations and ability to foster relationships with varying hiring managers.
- Permanent employment with the flexibility to work from home or on-site at our Rosebery mine.
- A hybrid working arrangement, with regular trips to Rosebery site for the right candidate.
