Job Overview

This is a permanent full-time opportunity at Hunter New England Local Health District. We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Specialist in Nuclear Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work primarily at John Hunter Hospital, Newcastle
  • Collaborate with a committed team across 35 hospitals and community health facilities
  • Provide services using the latest in Medical Imaging Technology
Requirements
  • Primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA
  • Fellowship in Nuclear Medicine or dual qualified Radiologist with Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists
  • Recent and comprehensive experience in Nuclear Medicine and/or Radiology
  • Credentialed as a provider of specialist PET services by Joint Nuclear Medicine Credentialing and Accreditation Committee (JNMCAC)
