Unlock Your Potential as a Cloud Business Development Specialist

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Cloud Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Partner Development team, you will play a critical role in driving revenue growth and customer adoption through our ecosystem of Amazon Partner Network (APN) Partners.

Your primary responsibility will be to execute a strategy for acquiring and nurturing a large number of APN partners across multiple technology stacks. You will identify, prioritize, and build relationships with the most strategic partners, driving top-line revenue growth and customer adoption through these partners.

The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to think strategically, communicate clearly, and influence decision-makers at the executive level. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to develop partner strategies and processes, utilizing CRM systems, data warehousing, and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Onboard new APN Partners, including Independent Software Vendors, Managed Service Providers, Resellers, and System Integrators.
  2. Effectively manage and measure a large number of partner enablement and go-to-market requests.
  3. Manage and jointly close a pipeline of customer opportunities developed with our partners.
  4. Identify, enable, and qualify high-value partners that drive revenue and deliver best-in-class solutions on AWS customers.
  5. Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to further develop partner strategies and processes.
  6. Utilize CRM systems, data warehousing, and other analytic tools to establish detailed metrics.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or Marketing.
  2. Interest in cloud computing technology and desire to learn and develop new skills.
  3. Excellent presentation and writing skills.
  4. Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization.
  5. Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software.
  6. Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
  7. Record of success in an outbound sales or prospecting role in B2B environments, preferably in a solution-sales / technology-related environment.
  8. Bilingual, language proficiency in English + Asian language.
