Director of Sales & Marketing

The Director of Sales and Marketing will be a pivotal role for a visionary leader who can seamlessly integrate and elevate the hotel's commercial and revenue strategies.

This role requires a candidate with expertise in revenue optimisation, business development, forecasting, and marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sustainable growth and ensuring long-term success and competitiveness in the luxury sector.

Key focus areas include maximising revenue in both the short and long term through strategic planning, optimising revenue streams, building strong client relationships, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences.

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the departmental budget to ensure alignment with the hotel's financial goals and adherence to the payroll budget.
  • Set pricing strategies, forecast demand, and manage inventory to maximise occupancy and average daily rates across all revenue streams, including accommodation, food and beverage (F&B), conferences and events (C&E), local catering, and ancillary services.
  • Utilise advanced revenue analytics to deliver strategic insights and regular reporting on revenue performance, market dynamics, and operational efficiency to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team of commercial professionals, set targets, and build a results-driven culture.
  • Ensure brand alignment across all tenancies within the hotel premises.
