Health Information Services Clerk

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Health Information Services team as a Medical Records Preparer. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing medical records for scanning, ensuring patient confidentiality, and maintaining the quality of electronic medical records.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare medical records for scanning, including quality checking documents and ensuring they are ready for scanning.
- Scan prepared documents in a timely manner to ensure they are available for electronic viewing by clinical staff.
- Maintain the quality of electronic medical records and paper medical records.
- Perform other clerical and administrative duties as requested.
- Experience using computers and Microsoft Office.
- Uphold a high standard of accuracy.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Possess good verbal communication skills.
- Understand patient confidentiality.
- Availability to work day and afternoon shifts as rostered.
