Midwife - Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist

About the Role
The Maternal Fetal Medicine Registered Midwife is a key position at Eastern Health, responsible for providing midwifery input and support for families experiencing high risk pregnancies. This role is a new addition to our team and will play a crucial part in our commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Main Responsibilities
- Triage of referrals to ensure timely and effective support for high risk pregnancies
- Coordination of the MFM clinic to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources
- Assisting in the follow-up of results with the support of our ward clerk
Requirements
- Current Midwifery registration with AHPRA
- Post Graduate qualifications in Midwifery (desirable, not essential)
- Highly developed interpersonal and leadership experience
- Previous experience working in Antenatal Clinic
- Previous experience working within a high risk model of care (desirable, not essential)
- A strong commitment to high quality care
- The ability to work as part of a diverse team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
