Job Role Summary

CommBank is seeking a skilled Staff / Lead Network Security Engineer to drive excellence, quality and performance for our IT services, across one or multiple portfolios. This role will provide sound input and engineering design, implementation and support to ensure the security and integrity of our network systems.

About the Role

  • Manage the design, build and operation of firewall technologies in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Contribute to the development of cybersecurity requirements, design & architecture artefacts, plans and policies to uplift the bank's security posture.
  • Mentor and support other engineers to ensure the success of our team.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior managers, solution designers, network and system engineers, project delivery teams and third-party vendors.

Key Skills

  • Extensive experience in IT Networks and Design, build and operating firewall technologies in a complex enterprise environment.
  • Experience with Palo Alto and Cisco firewall technologies.
  • Strong experience in Ansible/python or similar technologies to automate deployment and operational activities.
  • Experience with routing and switch technologies.
