Staff Network Security Architect

We are seeking an experienced Staff Network Security Architect to provide sound input and engineering design, implementation, and support in order to drive excellence, quality, and performance for an IT service, across one or multiple portfolios.

The Staff Network Security Architect is required to effectively build and maintain relationships with Senior managers, Solution Designers, Network and System Engineers, Project Delivery teams, and third-party vendors that provide technology services for the group.

The purpose of this role is to provide sound input and engineering design, implementation, and support in order to drive excellence, quality, and performance for an IT service, across one or multiple portfolios.

The Staff Network Security Architect is required to effectively build and maintain relationships with Senior managers, Solution Designers, Network and System Engineers, Project Delivery teams, and third-party vendors that provide technology services for the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Author complex implementation plans and configuration of network security changes into CBA's network services and devices
  • Have experience with technology in a large complex enterprise
  • Mentor and support other engineers

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in IT Networks
  • Experience in Design, build, and operating firewall technologies in a complex enterprise environment
  • Extensive experience in Palo Alto/Cisco firewall technologies
  • Experience in Ansible/python or similar technologies to automate deployment and operational activities
  • Experience with routing and switch technologies
  • Contributed to the development of cybersecurity requirements, design & architecture artefacts, plans, and policies to uplift the bank's security posture
