We are a small and agile team, delivering 8-12 new locations each year while growing established locations year on year.

Responsibilities

• Design individual exercise programs for members based on their exercise experience, medical background, and personal goals.
• Train Planet Fitness members during PE @ PF hourly sessions.
• Submit all individual training programs or workout logs to the GM for review.
• Front desk operations when not training (selling memberships, handling cancellations, file maintenance, club tours, information calls, daily cleaning and restocking).
• Inspect Matrix and Life Fitness equipment for malfunctions or damage and report any findings.
• Inspect AED equipment.
• Oil equipment weekly.
• Monitor the 30-minute Express area to address inappropriate use.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certifications: Certificate 3 & Certificate 4 in Fitness. Must provide a copy of valid certification or proof of working toward certification.
• If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred or 3-5 years of experience in a similar field.
• Gym work experience and fitness background preferred.
• Certifications from an approved Australian Fitness Provider.
• Must provide club with a copy of valid certification. If not currently certified, you must be certified within two months of hire or risk demotion or termination.
• Must be currently First Aid & CPR certified or willing to obtain within 3 weeks of employment and provide certification.
• Must have Working With Children (WWC) certificate/number for NSW & VIC; Blue Card QLD from employment commencement date.
• Must have completed a National Police Check certificate (NPC). NPC must be within 12 months of the application date.
