We are seeking a high-achieving and dedicated professional to join our kitchen team as a Sous Chef.

The ideal candidate will have senior chef experience in a production or events operation, with a proven track record of driving quality and consistency. A passion for diverse food and continuous learning is essential, as well as previous knowledge of food and labour cost controls.

A successful Sous Chef at our establishment will be responsible for supporting the Chef de Cuisine and leading the team to ensure consistency in high-quality product and service standards. This includes monitoring daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfaction, as well as participating in menu preparation and developing training plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor daily operations, payroll, costs, and guest satisfaction
  • Participate in menu preparation
  • Develop training plans
  • Lead shift briefings to ensure smooth handovers
Requirements:
  • Senior Chef experience in a production or events operation
  • Experience driving quality and consistency
  • Previous knowledge of food and labour cost controls
  • Basic computer skills essential
  • Full working rights to commit to 40 hours a week, including day shifts, evenings, weekends, and public holidays
