Position Overview
A.I.R Recruitment is representing a distinguished national provider of premium services across the mining, energy, industrial, and agricultural sectors. We are currently in search of skilled Fitters to enhance their operations in Singleton. This role primarily involves workshop duties, where you will perform service and repair tasks and install components at various customer locations as necessary. We welcome applications from individuals with backgrounds as Fitter & Turner, Heavy Vehicle Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or Light Vehicle Mechanics who possess hydraulic qualifications.

Salary and Benefits
  • Competitive hourly wage (ranging from $42 to $50 per hour based on experience and qualifications)
  • Permanent full-time employment
  • Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, 9-day fortnight, 6:30 AM to 3 PM
  • Flexible overtime opportunities available at penalty rates
  • Day shifts only, with optional Saturday work
  • Call-out compensation – minimum of 4 hours paid at overtime rates
  • 10% Mine site allowance for field service roles
  • Regional allowance between $3-$5 per hour
  • Opportunities for further training and development, including a chance to earn a Certificate IV in Fluid Power
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience in equipment installation with strong fault-finding skills
  • Background in preventative and planned maintenance
  • Experience in industrial or manufacturing processing and production lines
  • Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities
  • Competence in the assembly and disassembly of components
  • A team-oriented individual with a positive attitude
  • Commitment to safety, with the ability to adhere to policies and procedures

All candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical examination, which includes a drug and alcohol screening.
