About the Role

BAUER MEDIA is seeking an experienced Editorial Content Specialist to maintain the highest quality of content in print and online. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for celebrity and entertainment magazine content and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively access copy and pages in Content Station and be responsible for checking content with internal and external stakeholders
  • Fact-check, sub-edit, and rework content to house style and copyfit to pages
  • Work with Editors and Editorial Directors on omnichannel content across print, digital, and social channels
  • Give regular copy feedback to staff and freelance contributors
Requirements
  • 3+ years editorial experience including sub-editing/copy editing
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to change tone and style to match news/feature/interview/celebrity or lifestyle content
  • Professional, mature, and decisive in approach
  • Ability to manage multi-disciplinary tasks and work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
