Job Overview

We're seeking an experienced Content Writer - Financial Journalism Specialist to join our team at Future, a global multi-platform media company.

This is a full-time role based in Sydney, with opportunities for part-time requirements. As a Content Writer - Financial Journalism Specialist, you'll be responsible for creating engaging and informative content about personal finance and related topics.

About the Role

You'll have a strong background in journalism and experience writing for online platforms. You'll also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality content about personal finance and related topics for our website and social media channels.
  • Conduct research and interviews to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in personal finance.
  • Work closely with our editorial team to plan and execute content strategies.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Degree in Journalism or Communication (or relevant digital experience).
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial journalism or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Able to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $48,000 - $100,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience. This includes:
