About the Role:

As a specialist in cable installation and rural infrastructure development, you will play a vital role in supporting the expansion of telecommunications networks.

This position requires extensive travel and work away from home on a 21-day on/7-day off roster.

You can expect to work in various rural areas across NSW, often in remote locations.

The working hours may vary but typically involve 10-12 hour shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Rod, Rope & Hauling:
  • Haul multiple cables by hand and machinery, ensuring quality checks are performed throughout the process.
  • Civil Activities:
  • Repair blockages and operate plant and equipment such as dozers, excavators, vacuum trucks, winches, mobile cranes, and HR trucks.
  • Labouring Duties:
  • Undertake excavation using hand and mechanical methods, including cutting and repairing fences.
What You Need:
  • Mandatory: Current Construction White Card.
  • Desirable Qualifications:
  • Current HR Heavy Rigid Truck License,
  • Operator & VOC Excavator Certificate,
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate, and Work Safety at Heights High Risk License.
