Civil Infrastructure Inspectors

Highly skilled Civil Infrastructure Inspectors play a vital role in ensuring the quality and integrity of construction projects, including bridges, retaining walls, concrete barriers, drainage structures, and gantries.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect construction sites to guarantee compliance with relevant policies, standards, and specifications.
  • Identify and interpret structural and material defects, assess their criticality, and provide recommendations for necessary action.
  • Prepare detailed reports, including daily diaries, submissions, and documents related to specifications, welding processes, and fabrication issues.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including principals, contract administrators, and senior engineers, to ensure progress, quality, and problem resolution.
  • Develop and review inspection systems and maintain accurate records of documentation generated during manufacture, supply, and delivery of bridge products.

Mandatory Experience: A minimum of 5 years' extensive practical experience in bridge construction, routine bridge maintenance, steel fabrication, and precast concrete product manufacture is required. Demonstrated expertise in bridge construction and maintenance to established industry standards is also necessary.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field such as civil engineering, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • Possession of relevant certifications, licenses, or memberships in professional associations.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations.
