The Opportunity

This role is unique in every sense – a career-defining position as a Senior or Associate-level Civil Designer, working on transport infrastructure projects that are shaping Queensland's future.

As a key team member, you'll lead the design of roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure from concept to delivery, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to apply Road Safety and Design Philosophy principles. You'll also mentor junior designers, engage with clients, and champion innovation, safety, and best practices.

To excel in this role, you'll need 10–15 years' experience in civil design, an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, strong knowledge of Australian Standards and local road authority requirements, advanced proficiency in CADD software and transport infrastructure modelling, proven ability to manage scope, time, and cost, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative mindset.
