Opportunity in Elderly Care

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team of care professionals who provide industry-leading resident care and services. Our staff members work in a safety-first workplace, promoting independence among residents. The role involves supporting elderly residents, their families, and colleagues through highly interactive approaches.

This position is ideal for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of the elderly. You will be trained to complete Strength & Conditioning physio classes, provide 1:1 companion support, be dining champions, support engagement and intergenerational programs, and learn medicator shifts. You will also participate in education sessions called 'community of practice' to learn how to care for residents with needs across dementia care, infection and wound management, falls management, and palliative care.

About You

We value candidates who have experience in the aged care sector and can think on their feet, communicate effectively, build rapport, and demonstrate a strong purpose to help the elderly in our communities. Ideally, you should have:

  • A passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and a willingness to deliver quality care services daily.
  • Excellent safety awareness to prevent residents from tripping, falling, or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears.
  • A positive teamwork attitude, trustworthiness, excellent time management (including shift handovers), and adherence to strict safety procedures to maintain high safety standards.
  • Qualifications in Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or have completed first-year nursing studies with placement in aged care. We recognize other Cert III courses in related healthcare studies.
  • Possession of NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain), which is essential for working in aged care.
