Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain organisational adherence to our constitution.
  • Support the development and execution of the Strategic Plan.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant statutory laws and regulations.
  • Manage financial affairs effectively.
  • Support programs through direct involvement, fundraising, and ambassadorship.
  • Consistently attend and actively engage in Board meetings.
  • Timely engage with online communications.
  • Share knowledge and insights with the Board and Chief Executive Officer and Management Team.
Requirements:
  • Experience as a director or reporting to a Board.
  • Currently working within or have sound knowledge of the Australian fresh produce and/or wine industry.
  • Horticulture, viticulture, or agriculture production, distribution, and/or marketing experience.
  • Quality and food safety systems expertise in the horticulture, viticulture, or agriculture supply chain.
  • Familiarity with food safety or environmental policy.
  • Proven governance and financial management skills.
  • AICD Company Directors Course or equivalent governance qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Established networks beneficial to the development and growth of the organisation.
