The Maintenance Operations Manager will oversee the maintenance activities, ensuring high plant availability and reliability.
Key responsibilities include providing input into short and long-term maintenance plans, leading and motivating team members and contractors, executing planned, breakdown, and improvement work, reducing equipment downtime by ensuring maintenance activities are well-planned, staffed, and executed safely and efficiently.
- Developing and implementing maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
- Coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Leading and supporting team members and contractors in their roles and responsibilities.
A trade or tertiary qualification in Mechanical discipline is essential for this role. Previous experience in a similar role and knowledge of field equipment such as CAT, Hitachi, Liebherr, and Epiroc drills are highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Knowledge of mechanical disciplines and equipment.
