Job Title

We are seeking a skilled craftsman to join our maintenance team at our Wilpinjong mine in Mudgee, Australia.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a Boilermaker to work on various projects, ensuring the efficient operation of our mining equipment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned and unplanned maintenance tasks on our mining equipment to ensure it operates within required standards.

They will also comply with all site and statutory OH&S regulations, prioritizing safety for themselves and others.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Thermic Lancing and Air Arc Gouging processes and be able to produce and maintain welding standards compliant to AS1554.

Additionally, they will participate in continuous improvement programs to drive efficiency and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant OH&S regulations.
  • Minimize production downtime through effective maintenance planning.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hold a Boilermaker/Engineering (Fabrication) Certificate III Trade qualification.
  • Have experience in Thermic Lancing and Air Arc Gouging processes.
  • Be able to produce and maintain welding standards compliant to AS1554.
  • Have knowledge of conducting safety inspections and completing JSEA's, Risk Assessments & Permits.
