Warehouse Operations Lead


About the Role
  • This position requires a highly motivated and experienced individual to lead our warehouse operations team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Guiding daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe and efficient production processes.
  • Coordinating production schedules, shift handovers, and setting clear expectations for staff performance.
  • Supporting warehouse staff in operating cutting and bending machinery for steel bar products.
  • Maintaining safety procedures and quality standards within the warehouse environment.
  • Overseeing loading, transport, and stock movement to ensure timely delivery.
  • Identifying and resolving operational issues promptly (downtime, quality, or stock).
  • Providing guidance and training to operators on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety practices.
  • Liaising with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Maintenance, HR) to support service delivery and continuous improvement.

Requirements
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar warehouse or operations role.
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Relevant experience in the steel industry is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated understanding of workplace health and safety standards and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, WMS).
  • Ability to manage shift schedules, handovers, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
