
Senior Operations Manager

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and production operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding daily operations, managing workflow, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with experience leading teams in fast-paced environments. You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support warehouse staff during daily operations
- Coordinate production schedules, shift handovers, and set clear expectations
- Assist with operating cutting and bending machinery for steel bar products
- Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are followed
- Oversee loading, transport, and stock movement
- Report and resolve issues quickly (downtime, quality, or stock)
- Support the training and development of operators in SOPs and safety practices
- Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Maintenance, HR) to support service delivery
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives for safety, efficiency, and quality
- Lead and coordinate daily shift operations to meet production and delivery targets
Requirements:
- 3+ years in a similar warehouse or operations role
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment
- Reinforcing steel industry experience preferred
- Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards and compliance
- Good problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable using basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, WMS)
- Confident in managing shift schedules, handovers, and KPI tracking
- A proactive, 'can-do' attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
