Senior Operations Manager

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our warehouse and production operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding daily operations, managing workflow, and ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, with experience leading teams in fast-paced environments. You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

• Lead and support warehouse staff during daily operations
  
• Coordinate production schedules, shift handovers, and set clear expectations
  
• Assist with operating cutting and bending machinery for steel bar products
  
• Ensure safety procedures and quality standards are followed
  
• Oversee loading, transport, and stock movement
  
• Report and resolve issues quickly (downtime, quality, or stock)
  
• Support the training and development of operators in SOPs and safety practices
  
• Liaise with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Maintenance, HR) to support service delivery
  
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for safety, efficiency, and quality
  
• Lead and coordinate daily shift operations to meet production and delivery targets
  

• 3+ years in a similar warehouse or operations role
  
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment
  
• Reinforcing steel industry experience preferred
  
• Strong understanding of workplace health and safety standards and compliance
  
• Good problem-solving and communication skills
  
• Comfortable using basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, WMS)
  
• Confident in managing shift schedules, handovers, and KPI tracking
  
• A proactive, 'can-do' attitude and a commitment to continuous improvement
