The New Hope Group is seeking a senior financial analyst to join the Bengalla Commercial team.

This is a key role that will involve direct engagement with the highest levels of the business, working in a friendly and professional company culture.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Annual business planning and regular reforecasting processes
  • Capital management and guidance for internal stakeholders
  • Leadership of site Business Improvement function including investment analysis
  • Business risk management based on value enhancement
  • Insurance management and coordination of renewals
  • Liaising with senior management team and wider business

In this role, you will also provide Bengalla Mine management with analysis of strategic business options and reasoned recommendations for business enhancement.

To be successful, you will need:

  • Commercial or Accounting qualifications (CPA or CA well regarded)
  • Mining industry experience
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a small friendly team
  • Focus on continuous improvement and value creation
