Trauma Management Specialist Role

A comprehensive summary of the role: Delivers expert trauma management support to clients, encompassing critical incident response, employee counseling, and training services.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Critical Incident Response Services using Psychological First Aid, stepped care, and referral pathways.
  • Inform organisations of themes, recommendations, or internal process improvements.
  • Deliver Employee Counselling and Training Services.
  • Offer one-on-one trauma support and group sessions using Psychological First Aid and other trauma-specific interventions.


About You:
  • Proven experience in providing psychosocial interventions, support, and counselling.
  • Relevant experience and a minimum of 3 years in trauma management and/or consultancy services.
  • Demonstrated ability to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs, and provide solution-focused advice.
  • Passion for helping people and adaptability in working environments.
  • Excellent time management skills, report writing skills, and a willingness to demonstrate a 'can do' attitude.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in delivering People Assist services (EAP, RRS).
  • High-level negotiation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders.


We require a minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience as a psychologist or social worker, training in Psychological First Aid, and registration with the appropriate professional body. A current driver's license and your own vehicle are necessary.
