Business Operations Manager

About the Role
Business ManagerCatholic Education Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled Business Manager to join our team. The Business Manager is a key member of the College leadership team, responsible for the management of the College's finances and resources. The successful applicant will have a strong background in corporate or educational finance and experience in managing budgets.
Key Responsibilities
• Financial Management: Oversee the College's financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage resources to support the College's strategic goals and educational programs.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and College policies. Manage risk and implement best practices in governance and operations.
• Human Resources Management: Oversee the administration of staff, including contracts, leave, and rural incentives.
• Facilities Management: Manage the maintenance and development of College facilities, ensuring a safe and conducive learning environment.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work collaboratively with College leadership, staff, parents, and the community to support the College's mission and vision.
Selection Criteria
• Strong financial acumen and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in relevant financial and administrative software.
• Demonstrated leadership and organisational skills.
• Demonstrated high level of written and oral presentation skills.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Postgraduate qualifications, such as CPA, CA, or MBA.
• Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance (or ability to obtain).
