Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Public Sector People. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of projects, including bridges, sporting facilities, and other critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Provide expert engineering advice and guidance to project teams.
  • Manage and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Proven experience in managing complex construction projects, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Relevant qualifications, including a Bachelor's degree in architecture, engineering, or a related field.
