Leadership Role in Food Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Food Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Maintenance Team in the food industry based in Melbourne, Victoria.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of skilled maintenance professionals.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to enhance equipment reliability.
  • Coordinate and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation and minimal downtime.
  • Daily maintenance on conveyors and other food processing equipment.
  • Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Must have food Industry Maintenance Experience.

Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or similar.

Proven experience in a food maintenance role, with a track record of leadership.

Ability to log into FIX software works completed (Training provided).

Technical proficiency in maintenance procedures and equipment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

The salary for this position is estimated at $57.50 per hour plus superannuation and overtime pay.
