Senior Material Planner Role

This role is responsible for leading strategic material planning by helping resolve complex material supply chain challenges and taking lead on process improvements for the materials function.

This position provides mentorship to team members and fosters cross-functional collaboration, ensuring material availability to support dynamic production schedules and evolving customer needs.

You will support critical cross functional streams such as new product development and materials substitution processes.

  • Develop strong business relationships with suppliers to drive optimum outcomes.
  • Participate in local, regional and global projects where appropriate.
  • Participate in reduction of slow and obsolete products.
About You
  • Significant experience in Materials Planning, Food & Bev FMCG experience is preferred.
  • Previous employment in FMCG in a similar role.
  • Bachelor of Supply Chain / Logistics / Purchasing would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities: Manage a portfolio, lead strategic material planning, provide mentorship, develop business relationships and participate in various projects.

Key Requirements: Significant experience in Materials Planning, Food & Bev FMCG experience, previous employment in FMCG in a similar role and Bachelor of Supply Chain / Logistics / Purchasing.

The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are also essential for this role.
